In Music, we base our progression on the milestones outlined below. Music is taught in a mix of discrete blocks, through whole school singing and through themed weeks. Children who play an instrument are also invited to join our orchestra and each year we have a Piano Recital, Christmas and Summer Music concerts. 

In a recent 'Alchemy Island' Topic the children composed their own music and in KS1 they appreciated carnival music for their topic 'Rio De Vida'.
